Where else can you find a group of people that is willing to talk to fans about a movie that is older then most of the fans themselves?  The cast of Dawn of the Dead is the most down to earth group of people I've ever met.  I've talked to many of them outside of shows and they enjoy talking to fans, even though we don't talk about the movie, we still find things to chat about.  I found that David Emge and myself are fans of NASCAR, who would have guessed?
On this page you won't find out information on their characters, but you'll be up to date on what they're doing now, sort of like a "Where Are They Now?" page.

The Living

Ken Foree

Ken is currently the owner of a deli style restaurant in Long Beach California.  He started the business around February 2000.  Because of the business he hasn't had time to act much, he even had to turn down a role on Fox's Boston Public.

Scott Reiniger

Scott lives in Los Angeles where he works behind the scenes.  He teaches acting directing classes.  He has directed many television features, including E! Television's "O.J Civil Trial" movie.

David Emge

David is now out of the film industry.  Living in NY he works a regular job like every other person most of us know.  Dawn was a very important part of his life that he'll always remember.  He is also an avid NASCAR fan like myself.

Taso Stavrakis

Taso is currently helping run Hanlon-Lees Action Theater.  H-Lat is a company that specializes in jousting and other medieval style fighting.  H-Lat travels all through the country doing these types of shows and scenes for films.  I recently talked to Taso and H-Lat and himself are going to be doing the PA Renascence Faire later this year.

Nick Tallo

Nick "Bomba" Tallo is currently working on project with Richard Gere in Western PA.  He also works on various projects behind the scenes as grips and other technical aspects.

Marty Schiff

(Middle in red jacket) Marty works in Western Pa in commercials and radio spots for various companies.  He is the Artistic Director of the Pittsburgh Actors Lab.

David Early

(far left) David works in Pittsburgh teaching and acting acting and directing.  He aids up and coming actors and directors find their place by showing them the ways to get ahead in the business.

Tom Savini

Even though he was unable to be at the show he is still an intricate part of Dawn of the Dead.  Tom is currently working on several project, including working with George on a stage play.  He's recently completed Vampyrates and Children of the Living Dead.

The Living Dead

Lenny Lies

(middle) Lenny is currently very busy, he has been crisscrossing PA working on various projects.  He's working with getting the new superhero, Mr. Buckethead out and on the market.  He's currently associated with Dream Catchers Inc. who make documentaries and instructional tapes.

Jim Krut

Jim is currently the Communications Manager of Pennsylvania's largest electric cooperative.  He does work in the media for most of central PA's television studios as well as in the York and Adams county areas.  He worked up 30 second promo ads for his employer when they sponsored a rebroadcast of "War of the Worlds."  He has also been involve for several years with the Society for Creative Anchorism.  He also enjoys archery especially because he makes his own arrows.  His personal philosophy, "Lord, make me a verb instead of a noun."

* Special thanks to Jim and Lenny for providing me with the information above.  They took time to write to me about what they're up to, thanks a lot gentlemen!
